This Full Time Pastor Profile is based mainly on the 2009 Pastoral Search Survey. It reflects preferences and expectations from the CFBC congregation and leaders on the calling of our pastor.
Along with the Church Profile, this Full Time Pastor Profile should foster the potential candidates the understanding of our church and its ministries. This profile prompts as a guideline to CFBC and potential candidates for mutually seeking God’s leading. The Preferences indicate current church needs and are not intended as a rigid set of requirement.
Full Time Pastor Qualification
- A man of God as outlined in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1
- A graduate from an accredited seminary or a Bible college

- Visionary to lead our church spiritually
- Personal & approachable to connect with the congregation & new comers
- Strong in preaching, evangelism, and outreach
- Passionate in teaching, discipleship training, & developing lay leaders
- Effective administrative leadership
- A prayer warrior to lead by example
- Experienced in promoting youth ministry
- Bi-lingual – English as primary & Cantonese as secondary
